Protect your tow car’s windshield this winter with a glass protector
Submitted by boondockbob
Whether you live and RV in a mild climate or follow the snowbirds to a warmer climate, if you use your RV at all this winter you will likely encounter some rain and other yucky stuff Mother Nature unleases during our most inclement season.
And your tires will pick up this stuff and fling it indiscriminately onto your tow car’s windshield. Not only is an unprotected windshield a mess to clean up after every trip, but you could do serious damage with flying rocks and debris and possibly have to replace your windshield.
A heavy-duty cover to protect your windshield from this onslaught, such as this one from ADCO, attaches to the windshield in seconds with no installation necessary. To attach, open the vehicle doors and tuck the flaps of the cover inside, then secure the protector in place by closing the vehicle doors. An interior strap and buckle give you extra peace of mind.
