Why not to tow a trailer in a bad crosswind
Here is what can happen. It isn’t pretty. A big trailer like this one is a big wind catcher. To avoid this happening to you: (1) If you see warnings about high winds or high crosswinds, don’t drive there with an RV. (2) If you encounter these conditions, slow way down and stop as soon as you can, preferably pointing into the wind (i.e., take the next exit). —Thanks to Chris Dougherty for the advice.
